Apartment on Bashilovskaya street

We were asked to fit a bedroom with dressing room, living room, bathroom, and utility area all in this modest one-bedroom apartment housed in an old building. To make it feel more spacious, we removed the corridors and instead built a complex suprematist composition in the style of Kazimir Malevich in the centre. This accommodated the bathroom, laundry room and kitchen, as well as embedded shelving and panel for the TV and consoles from the side of the living room and hallway. We reflected the suprematist theme in the wall colour and decor; mixing vintage Italian and bright sixties style objects.
